Accessibility Statement

At The Medispa, we believe considered, clinical-grade skincare should be within everyone's reach. That commitment extends to how you experience our website: we want every visitor to be able to browse, learn and shop with ease, whatever their abilities and however they access the web.

Our commitment

We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for accessible digital experiences. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the store, rather than a one-off exercise, and we keep our approach under regular review.

We are not claiming full conformance or formal certification. Instead, we are committed to continual improvement and to making reasonable adjustments so that no one is placed at a disadvantage when using our site.

Measures we take

Across the store we aim to:

  • Use clear, semantic page structure and meaningful headings so content is easy to follow and works well with screen readers.
  • Support keyboard navigation, so the site can be used without a mouse.
  • Take care over colour contrast and legible, generously sized typography to aid readability.
  • Provide descriptive alternative text for product and editorial imagery, and clear, descriptive labels for links and buttons.
  • Design responsively, so the experience adapts comfortably to mobile, tablet and desktop screens.
  • Consider accessibility when we make changes, and review our pages over time.

Known limitations and ongoing work

We are an independent retailer and accessibility is a continuing journey. Some parts of our site rely on third-party tools and content, and certain older pages or features may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where we identify a barrier, we will do our best to put it right, or to offer a suitable alternative, as quickly as we reasonably can.

Need help or found a problem?

If any part of our website is difficult to use, or if something prevents you from finding what you need or completing your order, please tell us. We will gladly make reasonable adjustments and help you in another way in the meantime.

If you can, please let us know the page or feature involved and the device, browser or assistive technology you are using, as this helps us resolve things faster. We aim to acknowledge every accessibility query within 5 working days and to keep you updated until it is resolved.
